个人简介

Dr Zhigang Wang has been working with the University of Dundee since 1998, first as Research Fellow at Mechatronics Division and now Senior Research Fellow & Group Leader of Surgical Technology and Robotics at IMSaT, University of Dundee. Previously, he was an associate professor at Chongqing University (China), a visiting scholar at King’s College, University of London. He also worked as senior research scientist with one Dundee University spin-out company to further develop his research and innovation work in middle ear active implant. He serves expert reviewer for EPSRC, NHS/NIHR i4i programme, and peer reviewer for international journals including IEEE Trans BME; Med Eng Physics; Surg Endosc; I J Thermal Science, and various international conferences. As principal investigator (PI) and co-investigator (CoI), he has completed several research grants. Dr Wang has also served as PhD/MSc student supervision and involved in teaching in MSc course (Biomedical Engineering), as well as coordinating international collaborations with overseas universities.
